Circle U. Climate Hub
Circle U. is one of Europe’s research-intensive and interdisciplinary university alliances – comprising nine universities - working to provide outstanding education, research and innovation to contribute to more sustainable, democratic and healthier societies.
Within Circle U.'s Climate Hub the participating universities and their external partners are testing how cooperation, joint research and knowledge transfer can contribute to the development of strategies and solutions for the pressing issues and challenges of the climate crisis.
The Knowledge Hub organizes and hosts activities created with and for various stakeholders. These activities include learning offers and events such as Summer Schools, Thematic Seminars and Circle U.'s Climate Day.
Circle U. Climate Day - 5th June 2025
Thanks to the input from participants during the Climate Hub's ideation workshop on climate education in 2023, the hub developed the idea for Circle U.'s Climate Day.
The Climate Day is organized by Circle U.‘s Climate Knowledge Hub and will take place on Thursday, June 5, 2025, between 09.00am – 08.00pm (CET).
Through various events, course offers and initiatives, we aim to educate, raise awareness and facilitate exchange on climate change and sustainability. This is an opportunity to talk about current research, open up learning offers at our universities, reach out to the public and also reinforce Circle U.’s profile and mission.
Whether you are a teacher, researcher, student or part of our administrative staff - this Climate Day is your chance to be part of a conversation driving education and positive change.
In order to be able to plan an enriching programme and provide support at the respective university, we kindly ask interested parties to submit their format/ event proprosal until November 22, 2024 via the submission form.
