Evaluating Internationality

A current (2015-16) project of Internationalising the Curriculum is to discuss and develop criteria and indicators for evaluating internationality and promoting internationalisation at Humboldt-Universität. To this end, we are using criteria used in rankings (e.g. CHE, IMPI) in comparison with criteria that the faculties or academic departments themselves regard as indicative of their respective degrees of internationalisation. Because teaching and research conditions vary from one department to another, the long-term aim of the project is to identify and establish criteria that are specific to the individual departments and can be used in an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of teaching at the Humboldt-Universität.
