Birgit Lettmann studied Cultural Studies, Film Studies and Anthropology at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Freie Universität and Universidad de Sevilla. Besides program coordination she is doing her PhD under Prof. Thomas Macho.

Rojin Bindal studied Cultural Anthropology and Turkology at Georg-August-Universität in Göttingen und Turkish Languages and Literature at Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi in Istanbul. Now she is a Master's student of European Ethnology at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. At the same time, she's doing a second bachelor's degree in Social Work.
