About the Award for Excellence in Teaching
The "Award for Excellence in Teaching at Humboldt-Universität" is awarded annually on a topic-by-topic basis for outstanding teaching concepts in the current academic year. All lecturers with an institutional connection to Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (HU) can be nominated.
All members of the HU, i.e. students as well as staff in science, technology, service and administration, are entitled to make proposals. Student representatives, institutes and faculties are involved in the selection process as well as representatives of all status groups.
