Interdisciplinary Studies - Humboldt Bachelor

The "Interdisciplinary Studies - Humboldt Bachelor" is an interdisciplinary programme of studies, which is currently being developed. The aim of the study programme is to equip students with cross-disciplinary and reflective skills.


What the study programme looks like?

The "Interdisciplinary Studies - Humboldt Bachelor" is an innovative programme of studies with an interdisciplinary focus. With this programme the Humboldt University of Berlin (HU) aims to develop a deep understanding of interdisciplinarity, which based on the dialogue of the disciplins and on common stricly interdisciplinary research questions. The courses promote disciplinary and interdisciplinary skills and gives students scope for personal development and the opportunity for an in-depth exploration of specific topics.

Who is eligible for the Humboldt Bachelor?

The Humboldt Bachelor is aimed at students, who are interested in interdisciplinarity.


Who is developing the study programme "Interdisciplinary studies - Humboldt Bachelor"?

The study programme "Interdisciplinary Studies - Humboldt Bachelor" will be developed during the next year. It is being designed by the bologna.lab in collaboration with the HU Berlin teaching staff from a wide range of faculties and disciplines. The study programme will be institutionally located at a faculty of the HU Berlin. If you are a member of the university teaching staff at the HU and would like to support this interdisciplinary programme, you are warmly invited to get involved.
It starts at the wintersemester 2019/20.
