Internationalising the Curriculum
In the higher education sector, a high degree of internationalisation is regarded as a mark of quality. Humboldt Universität zu Berlin has therefore set itself the goal of gearing all areas of university life towards the global community.
The bologna.lab’s sub-project ‘Internationalising the Curriculum’ was established to support the internationalisation of teaching at Humboldt-Universität. The sub-project formed the link between the task of developing new forms of teaching and learning (in the bologna.lab) and the cross-sectional task of internationalisation (mainly represented in the International Office).
Key functions:
- Support for the development and implementation of international study programmes
- Advice for internationalising the curriculum of existing study programmes
- Support for internationalising teacher training courses
- Support for binational PhD programmes
- Exploring the possibilities of e-learning and digital media for purposes of internationalisation
- Developing empirical methods of evaluating and measuring internationalisation
