Q-Programme
In the Q-Programme, the bologna.lab developed and tested a wide range of teaching and learning formats which provide students with early access to research work. The programme comprised four core initiatives which offered a wide range of target groups individual formats for independent, research-based studies.
In 2021 the Q-Moduls, Q-Tutorials and Q-Kollegs had to be temporarily abandoned. The Q-Teams are still running.
Through research-based learning, students are to be introduced to university research and an inquiring mentality from their Bachelor studies onwards. Students learn to formulate academic questions, to develop a research project corresponding to these questions and to see through this project in a methodical fashion. Ideally, this would mean that they would gain experience of all phases of the research process up to and including publication and a reflective analysis of their results.
The Q-Programme comprised four core initiatives. While the basic idea behind independent, research-based study is the same in all formats, each individual project had a different focus and was aimed at a different target group.
